California’s scrap tire recycling companies have limited resources to market their products and services, and potential buyers of tire-derived products often need more information on product applications, and sources. The California Rubber Recycling Network (CRRN) was created to advance the movement of California-generated scrap tires into the marketplace for beneficial use in the form of new products by:
- Providing a robust, content-rich online shopping and information center for tire derived products and related services;
- Promoting greater awareness of the availability and beneficial applications of the wide range of California tire-derived products on the part of potential tire derived product users;
- Facilitating information flow among industry stakeholders to foster increased use of tire derived products in applications where they are advantageous;
- Providing opportunities for California tire recycling and related companies to showcase their products and services in the global marketplace – beyond California’s borders; and
- Developing and promoting the use of standards of practice among California scrap tire recycling companies that support development of high quality products and customer satisfaction.
